Please read these terms carefully before using AmarCV. They explain what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how subscriptions and payments work — including our no-refund policy.

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of AmarCV, including our website, resume and biodata builder, templates, downloads and all related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the Service.
2. Eligibility & Your Account
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account. By registering you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including all content created and all purchases made.
- Keep your password and any one-time verification codes confidential; do not share your account with others.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- We may refuse, suspend or remove accounts that are duplicated, automated, or created with false information.
3. Description of the Service
AmarCV provides online tools to create, edit, preview and export professional resumes, CVs and biodata documents using our template library.
Some features are available at no cost, while others require an active paid plan. The features included in each plan are listed on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
4. Your Content & Ownership
You keep full ownership of the personal details, work history, images and any other material you add to the Service ("Your Content").
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, render and export Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it for advertising.
You are responsible for ensuring Your Content is accurate, lawful, and that you hold the rights to any material you upload.
5. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, or impersonate another person.
- Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the rights of others.
- Copy, resell, redistribute or publicly release our templates, designs or generated assets as your own product.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying systems.
- Use bots, scripts or automated tools to create accounts, generate documents in bulk, or overload our infrastructure.
- Interfere with security features, rate limits, or the normal operation of the Service for other users.
6. Subscriptions, Plans & Billing
Paid plans are sold as prepaid subscription packages. The price, duration and included features of each plan are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
- Payment is charged in full and in advance through our third-party payment gateway; we never store your full card details.
- Your plan becomes active as soon as payment is confirmed and remains active for the stated period.
- Unless expressly stated on the pricing page, plans do not auto-renew; you may purchase again once a plan expires.
- We may change prices or plan contents at any time. Changes apply to future purchases only, never to a plan you have already paid for.
- You are responsible for any taxes, bank charges or currency conversion fees applied by your payment provider.
7. No Refund Policy
All payments made to AmarCV are final and non-refundable.
Our plans unlock digital content that is delivered instantly and in full the moment your payment is confirmed — premium templates, unlimited documents and downloadable exports. Because that access cannot be returned once it has been granted, we do not offer refunds, credits, exchanges or partial reimbursements.
In particular, no refund is available in the following situations:
- You change your mind, or purchased a plan by mistake or without reading these Terms.
- You did not use, or only partially used, the features included in your plan.
- You cancel, stop using, or delete your account before the plan period ends.
- Your account is suspended or terminated because these Terms were breached.
- A template, export or result did not match a personal expectation that was not part of the advertised features.
This policy applies except where a refund is required by applicable law that cannot be waived. If you believe you were charged incorrectly — for example a duplicate charge, or a payment for which access was never delivered — contact us with your transaction details and we will investigate the billing error.
8. Free Features & Promotions
Free features are offered as a convenience and carry no commitment. We may modify, limit or withdraw them at any time, without notice and without liability.
Any promotional offer, discount or trial is subject to the conditions published with that offer, and may not be combined with others unless we state otherwise.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service itself — including our templates, layouts, designs, graphics, source code, trademarks and the AmarCV name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
Your plan grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use our templates to produce your own documents. It does not transfer ownership of the templates, nor permit their resale or redistribution.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties for payment processing, analytics, email delivery and hosting. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or conduct of third-party services, or for any loss arising from them.
11. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep it running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may carry out maintenance, deploy updates, or change or discontinue features at any time. Where reasonably possible we will give advance notice of planned downtime.
12. Suspension & Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or act in a way that harms other users or our systems. Termination for breach does not entitle you to any refund of amounts already paid.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, the no-refund policy, disclaimers and limitation of liability — remain in force afterwards.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
AmarCV is a document-building tool. We do not guarantee that using it will result in a job, an interview, a shortlisting, or acceptance by any employer, recruiter, applicant tracking system or institution.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost opportunities, lost profits, or the loss or corruption of data.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid to AmarCV in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AmarCV, its owners, employees and partners against any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, from Your Content, or from your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves or as legal requirements change. The revised version takes effect when published on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top will change accordingly.
Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
17. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
